Travel / Puerto Vallarta Pics
- Photography/Travel: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: Uploaded new pictures from my trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was amazing- stayed 5 nights in downtown PV at Hotel Encino, $16/night/person! And 2 nights at Occidental Resort for $52/night/person/all inclusive with all meals and open bar. I found this special deal from Travel Zoo: stay one night and the next night is free. Went on a sunset cruise > all day Los Arcos + Snorkeling + Beach cruise > Rain forest tour > San Sebastian + Tequila tasting tour, and para sailed.
- Travel: Have some other trips planned for the rest of the year: Thailand + Cambodia, LA+ San Fran (Lovevolution)...next year: Brazil, Amsterdam for Dance Valley + Sensation White, Egypt, Switzerland + Norway?

Beauty, MccGwire, Samson Balakov
- Portfolio/Beauty:: Added a new Beauty section: showing work I've done for Revlon. Now freelancing at Victoria's Secret Beauty 4 days a week and at St-Germain one day/week> Loving it. VS keeps me busy and now I'm a full time freelancer with the freedom to travel :)
- Sculpture:: Kate MccGwire: fantastic sculptures from feathers and wishbones
- Photography:: Jonah Samson: his series "Pleasantville" has me cracking up, full of dark humor.
- Photography:: Balakov:: I used to play with Legos all the time when I was little, and his photos of Lego characters gives them life. I especially like the ones where he puts a Lego spin on famous images.

Nicholas Felton
- Graphic Design/Editorial:: Nicholas Felton. Came across his Hard Times work and found out that he does the editorials for Fast Company and New York Magazine. Always wondered who did the layouts: turned out to be Felton! Strong and clean work.

Zbihilkyj, Arnell, The Partners
- House/Trance Music Festival :: Going to Bal En Blanc this weekend in Montreal! Can't wait to explore the beautiful city and dance to some good beats. Their flyer is pretty cool too, minimal colors. A little crazy with the information, it took me some time to find the venue of the damn party.

- Illustrator :: Andrew Zbihlyj :: Some awesome work he makes with ink splatters, hand-drawn linework, blurring, cropping and manipulation of photographs

- Packaging:: Arnell Group :: From The Dieline >>
Via Daily Icon, new work from Arnell, the same folks who brought you the new Pepsi and the new (now discontinued) Tropicana packaging:
"Elegant packaging for 1000 Acres premium Vodka. Glass vessels designed for display beyond the liquor cabinet. 1000 Acres Vodka, by Manufacturer"

- Design :: The Partners :: cool website (although it takes time to load up all the pages)

Armory, HOW Magazine Design Annual 2009
Show/Modern Art: The Armory: Got up early on Sunday to check out the Armory Show on 52nd and 12th Ave at Pier 92 + 94. It was huge! I thought I was done with the show when I went through another gate and realized it took up a second pier. There was a lot of great (and bad) work.

Design/Branding/Magazine: HOW: My Favorite Picks from HOW Magazine's March International Design Annual: Their work is phenomenal (and many of them are repeat winners). I would love to intern/work with them!

New Website Up
- Portfolio: My new website is up and running! Now looking for a second freelance job that would be 2 days and week and/or weekends!
- Photography/Portfolio: Please disregard any old links I have concerning my photography because they are now all on flickr.
- Industrial Design: 20 Years of Miata: Gotta love the vintage cars.
- Video/Perspective/Funny: Everythings Amazing, Nobody’s Happy…Always good to look at the context of situations and realize that we've come a long way (After reading books like Wild Swans or Infidel and reading what experiences those people have gone through), that we are fortunate to have the things we have, and not to take things for granted and complain about the more trivial things.
- Events/NYC: Too many good things to do in March!

It's Been a While
- It has been a while since my last post. Sorry!
- I've been super busy since I have been back in the city: I am now freelancing at St-Germain. I love it! Their entire design and concept were created by Sandstrom Design. Looking back at my time at Momentum, I am grateful to Mike Bade, Benita Conde, Jana Welch, Katie Garton, David Fite, Alex Klein, Kamau, Ty Baker, and especially Richard DiFuria, and Mary Minor for teaching me so much. Many thanks.
- I am now also now part of Creative Circle. Great resource for freelance creatives.
- Inspiration/Talk:: TED TALKS: Barry Schwartz: The real crisis? We stopped being wise
- Random/Funny:: This is Why You're Fat:: Americans can stop complaining, whining, sueing, and gain some common sense.
