Photographer: Patrick Demarchelier: While searching for photographers for Martini research, came upon Patrick Demarchelier, one of the most famous fashion photographers in the world, and istantly fell in love with his work.
Design/Branding:Office Lab: Got the chance to visit the intimate office of Office Lab. Amazing work, which can be seen on the new website launching 2.25.08. Over-arching, beautiful, clean, and elegant stuff.
Sculptor: Take G- "Nakagawa Takeji is a 32-year-old toymaker in Nagano, Japan. Nakagawa's Take-g Toys [though it's a spin on his first name, it's pronounced like English] specializes in simple, modern toys with almost baroque combinations of woods and grains."
Sculptor: Scott Radke- "Surreal sand sculptures, painting, drawings, masks, and marionettes."
Artist/Painter:Ron English: is a "celebrated prankster father of agit-pop", who wrangles carefully created corporate iconographies so that they are turned upside down, and are used against the very corporation they are meant to represent.
